This is why 'the bird" is back!
In our history, this establishment was introduced to the neighborhood as "The Bird of Paradise," but that was the past. Today, we are best known as simply, "Paradise' and have become the place to be seen any night of the week.
Located two blocks from the ocean in Long Beach, California, we feature a good looking team in our restaurant and bar serving delicious meals that will warm your stomach, while a host of specialty drinks will certainly knock your socks off! Be sure to ask for our daily featured cocktails. Yet, if beer or wine is your liking, we have the popular stock as well.
It's no wonder we've become popular. It's not just the place that is comfortable, it's our neighborhood regulars (you) that makes every night fun! That's why we love you.. I'VE BEEN TO PARADISE...
This is a classic excerpt from the song made famous by the movie "Priscella: Queen of the Desert." Paradise is more than just a bar and restaurant, we also give back to the community through a variety of charity events. We feature local artists in an effort to save creativity and truly honor people with talents in design, art and lifestyle.
As for our history, our patrons are now referred to as "Birds" and, with that, we honor our past, as well as our current team who have brought Paradise into a league of their own.

Under the careful eye of Chef Veronica, our restaurant is open seven days a week for dinner featuring our primary seasonal menu and several daily menus, including 2 for 1 Cheap & Easy Mondays, Baja Tuesday, small nibblers Wednesdays, Surf & Turf Thursdays and Weekend brunch.
Our menu has something for everyone and not a night goes by that friends, family, groups and neighborhood locals swing on in for a bite to eat. We even provide catering and can host afternoon business luncheons.

Our Paradise Bar happy hour is from 3-7pm, but get here between 3-4pm and you'll be seeing double! Our buy one and get your buddy a drink for a quarter !

As the Executive Chef of Paradise Piano Bar & Restaurant, I would like to thank you for your consideration. At Paradise, we like to think of ourselves as the versatile place that welcomes just about any sort of group for gatherings but especially for celebrations. We like to take the time to get to know what you have in mind, because we know no two parties are alike. We like to work out the necessary details to make sure you are able to relax and enjoy being part of all the fun! Such details include food, of course. Just as no two parties are alike, no two menus are alike! Our wonderful General Manager Eric Davis gathers all the information then I personally take the time to customize a menu in hopes of satisfying your desires and expectations. It all comes together to make your event complete!

710 FREEWAY
Head South to the end of the freeway exiting 7th street to Broadway, heading east. Keep right as Broadway will come to dead end split. Keep right as Broadway continues as a two way street Go to Hermosa. We are on the right. It is best to one one more block to Cherry Park and park anywhere around here.
605 FREEWAY
Head South to the end of the freeway, exiting on 7th street, heading West. Stay on 7th and go to Redondo, and make left. Head south on Redondo (toward the beach) to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. Go to Junipero or Cherry and park. Hermosa is one block west of Cherry (just past Rite Aide) and is an easy walk.
405/22 FREEWAY

In 2008, we raised and gave back over $10,000 to various charities all with your help, generosity and loyal patronage.
This year, we have raised money for the AIDS FOOD STORE of Long Beach, participated in C.A.R.E. to DINE, debuted new artists who have gone on to be featured in major publications and museum events internationnally, and continue to do so as a pro community restaurant.
All this month, we are featuring HOPE wine. with every purchase of Hope Wine, a portion of the profits goes to AIDS charities.

WE SPONSOR OUR LOCAL SOFTBALL TEAM
Four years ago, we were approached to consider sponsoring a Long Beach softball team, the Falcons. Ever since, this crazy softball team has become Long Beach darlings of softball and have turned Paradise upside down with hijinks.
With season fundraising events, our Falcons have expanded to two solid teams competing with other Long Beach and Orange County teams, and even have a traveling team that attends various tournaments across the country.
